Edgar Wright’s new and much anticipated comedy The World’s End has two new posters as the launch day gets ever nearer. I actually LOVE the first poster below, which incidentally thanks to the release date appears to be the US poster. Featuring the cast in the middle of a flaming, damaged pub sign, it’s just very cool, and sets the tone for the kind of film we can expect from the man that brought us Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz.

Jameson Empire Awards 2013 have announced their shortlist for the Best Actor award. Taking a selection from the slightly more commercial films, the list includes: Robert Downey Jr (The Avengers), Daniel Craig (Skyfall), Daniel Day-Lewis (Lincoln), Martin Freeman (The Hobbit), and Christoph Waltz (Django Unchained) who has been nominated on multiple award occasions this year but normally in the Best Supporting Actor category.
