Our friends at Disneynature bring us a fun new cinema experience with their upcoming theatrical film, Chimpanzee. This cinema delight follows the tale of Oscar, a loveable young chimpanzee who finds himself alone in the forest after being separated from his mother. Oscar’s journey begins as he attempts to find his mum among the other chimpanzees who call the Tai National Park in Côte d’Ivoire, Africa their home. This nature film is a true story, based on four years of footage that was shot in the chimpanzees’ natural habitat. In celebration of Chimpanzee, we invite you to #MeetOscar and the rest of our favourite movie primates. These playful fellows and Hollywood have a long and famous history as we highlight the very best as they monkey around!
