Killer Joe: Trailer

Killer Joe is the story of a young man hiring a hitman to kill his mother so he can claim her life insurance and pay of his debts to some drug lords.

Alas, nothing is ever that simple!

This looks great, i’m pretty excited to see Matthew McConaughey in such a different role. It looks dark and a step away from his usual roles. Also anyone thats seen Into the Wild will know that Emile Hirsch is an excellent excellent actor.

I love these kind of movies, set in the deep south, where everything is just a little bit off and you know something bigger is going to go wrong.

This is a definite addition to my must watch list. Check out the trailer and see what you think!

Jeff Who Live at Home: Exclusive Clip

Here is a sneak peek at the new Jason Segal movie ‘Jeff Who Lives at Home’ which hits cinemas this Friday.

The movie is described below and looks pretty funny!

On his way to the store to buy wood glue, Jeff looks for signs from the universe to determine his path. However, a series of comedic and unexpected events leads him to cross paths with his family in the strangest of locations and circumstances. Jeff just may find the meaning of his life… and if he’s lucky, pick up the wood glue as well.

The Bourne Legacy: Images

Well, it’s still months until it’s released so anything new from this movie is exciting. I can’t wait to see this and see how they move the story on with Aaron Cross (Jeremy Renner).

The poster below doesn’t give anything away, but I really like the simple yet bold artwork. The promise of ‘prepare for the unexpected’ has also got me super excited!

The second image shows Renner’s Aaron Cross, face to face with Byer played by Edward Norton. Renner and Norton are two actors that i absolutely love and I can’t wait to see them in one of my favourite franchises.

These images give nothing away in terms of plot  all we know is, as the tagline says, “there was never just one” and thank god for that, I for one cannot wait for release day!

Screenshot Sunday: Warrior
Ok it’s been a while since I posted one of these, but no time like the present to ressurect Screenshot Sunday.
This is the moment from Warrior when Tommy comforts his father after a very harsh exchange of words. This is a great scene that really stands out, not jsut because of the great acting from Nick Nolte, but due to the change in pace when compared to the rest of the movie.
The film is full of outstanding performances from great actors who portray some of the best characters i’ve seen in years on screen. Everything about this film is crafted amazingly well. I recommend you watch it if you have not.
Happy Screenshot Sunday.

The Amazing Spiderman - Trailer

Initially I was against Spiderman being remade so soon after the Sam Rami/Tobey Maguire movies. The word reboot was starting to send chills through me.

The first glimpse of the new movie looked impressive. The new trailer? It looks astonishing! This movie is going to blow our minds, clearly.

The trailers gives us a glimpse into the new take on the story, the amazing stunts and special effects, it looks as if the script is going to have a few comedy moments too.

This has blown my mind. It’s going to be incredible.

The summer cannot come quick enough, mainly so I can sit inside a dark cinema for most of it and wish that superheroes were real.
