Jason Becker: Not Dead yet is an incredibly moving and inspirational drama of Jason Becker a young child guitar prodigy who was instantly recogniseable from his peers by his unmatched ability on the guitar.
Directed by Jessie Vile this film, charts the life of a teenager who played guitar at every availalbe moment until he was discovered by ex- Van Halen singer David Lee Roth and given an opportunity to record an album and join a world tour.
At this time he was diagnosed with the fatal disease Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosisand given just 3-5 years to live.
22 years late Jason is still making music despite loosing the ability to walk and talk.
An insightful and well put together documentary that charts the life of a true talen who despite all the odds continued to do what he was born to do and make incredible music.
